Every human activity has its end -- moreover, we all shall live for God, not for "our creation".
What you are reading right now is, probably, my last post published at this blog. Thank you for being with me, commenting on texts published here, and -- first and foremost -- for your prayers.

Remember: a language of love is the most important one. No book, blog post, or TV show can/will ever replace it.

Dear Readers, pray for heaven and pray for me. May God and Our Lady of Mount Carmel be always with us.

The Miraculous Science

A person who wants to be a physicist has to be open to the existence of God and His miracles.

It is so for without Creator and His Laws everything around us would be the subject of accidental factors, thus no certain results would be possible to obtain in any laboratory or classroom.

In fact if some researchers base their belief system on that what is accidental, or (in other words) godless, there is no reason for them not to believe that a man may just flight out of their laboratory someday.

If we lived in such a chaotic world everything - laws of gravity included - could be changed (or rather "chaothized") in a blink of an eye.

Still the whole universe has its order and been created for a purpose that is fixed and eternal: to live, love, and seek God -- the only Person who not only lets us live in a scientific stability, but also turns each and every existence into a great, miraculous event.

The Heart of nature

The nature is often seen by some as a kind of deity. Named "Gaia" it is presented by them as our mother as well. That, for such people, may be right since natural laws are, in fact, the very powerful ones.

Moreover -- and here lies the greatest danger of environmentalism -- the nature requires of them no moral standards toward anyone who is weak, poor, or handicapped . The stronger person is always a winner - environmentalists will tell you.

In my opinion, the senseless nature -- however powerful it may be -- has no authority over us and is nothing compared to the loving, personal God.

The one Who created it and gave us all, both -- able-bodied and disabled -- the great words of wisdom:

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me"

We are not determined by the nature, however loud and vital it me be. It is so for the heartbeats of The Merciful Baby Jesus had been sounding much more sweeter long before our sister, above-mentioned nature, was created.

Mary's Ladder/Drabina Maryi(ENG/PL)

Meditations on the Holy Rosary are, in fact, the meditations on Mary's tears. Mentioned tears, represented by rosary's beads, are -- no matter whether we contemplate sorrows or joys of Our Lady -- the true source of hope for us all.

It is so for God accepted all the tears of our heavenly Mother, so we -- just like Mary did -- may obtain two things: an understanding our own tears and the best access to the dwelling place of her Son.

Just ask Immaculata how to recite her Holy Rosary, then offer your tears up for the whole world, and she will provide you with a solid ladder to heaven

Our souls, His Choices/ Nasze dusze, Jego wybory (ENG/PL)

The hardest thing for many of us is to let some bad people and affairs go out of our lives...
Attached to them, we cry and moan, instead of rejoice and see that each and every loss experienced by us has its purpose. In fact any loss is a greatest act of Lord's Mercy, for the soul that lives mainly for God won't ever enter hell because of any human being.

The Roselike Graces

When we are on the cross -- whether due to our disability, illness or pain -- we act as a teachers & students of love at the same time. We teach other people that sufferings of an individual can be transformed out of -- and into -- love and we learn about the Love of God, our Creator, Who left no humans' experience unused.

Jesus himself showed us this while experiencing his own crucifixion: the bigger his own pain was, the wider his arm were stretched.

Your illness may not be the easiest thing to bear, yet the Love that Jesus' has for all who try to imitate Him will take the burden off your back turning it someday into the rain of roselike graces for you and the whole world.

Często, gdy mama spodziewa się dziecka, opisuje się ją jako "kobietę ciężarną". Z pewnością dziewięć miesięcy oczekiwań na cud narodzin upragnionego syna lub córki, stanowi dla kobiety określony, niemały wysiłek. Czy jednak -- także z tego powodu -- nie lepiej mówić wtedy, że doświadcza ona stanu błogosławionego?

Nie tylko pozwoli to znosić łatwiej stojące przed całą nową rodziną wyzwania, ale także -- po uświadomieniu sobie, jak słowa kształtują Życie -- od początku jej błogosławić.

Human soul and the issue of life

The Catholics believe that each and every human being has a soul. Surprisingly, atheists -- who for the most time think that there is not a bit of such spiritual element in us, humans -- often share believers' point of view on the soul existence when it comes to debating life issues.

They often say to pro-life scientists or philosophers: "We do not know when the soul is given to a human being, therefore we can not decide when does the tissue become a child".

Perhaps that is true, yet the human life should be protected no matter of one's particular views on the soul. You can be a Jew, Musilm, Catholic or non believer...And still the most important thing is that you are a living person and therefore shall enjoy the fullness of your rights.

Our Future, Our Goal

Among a few arguments in the arsenal of so-called pro-choice movement you will find the following one:

"Some children, if born, will have poor future".

This argument is dangerous for two reasons: if one accepts it, he or she discriminates impoverished or disabled people at the same time. It is so, for if -- as some assume -- there's no place in this world for an unborn child with the "poor future", why should there be any place for a person with the "poor here and now"?

Finally, neither wellness nor poverty should be the final goal for us, Christians: We all shall aim at heaven -- just like our Lord and His Mother.

Neither normal nor cool -- just the best one...

Blessed Margaret of Castello, the patroness of disabled and abandoned people, had a very difficult live. However she suffered a lot, only once she complained to Jesus about that. At that moment she asked her Lord and Saviour the following question: Why can't I lead a normal life?

Jesus replied to her calmly : Did I have such life?

Perhaps you too are the one, who wants to live so-called ordinary life:

- would it not be cool to get rid of my cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, or cancer? - you asked yourself many times.

Yes, it would be cool...At least until you ask Jesus about this idea and conclude that probably never a cool man had entered the heaven.

Good Death and Evil Minds

The knowledge of history is a vital, yet sometimes neglected part of humane education.
Nevertheless, it can provide so-called modern man with the new outlook on many issues.

One of these is the issue euthanasia: the one that hasn't been associated so much with assisted suicide back in the Ancient Times, oppose to how people find it these days.

Famous Roman historian Suetonius, to give you just one example, reported that Emperor Augustus experienced an euthanasia (good death) while... Passing away in his wife's arms.

Wouldn't it be even better for all dying human beings to die in arms of Jesus or Mary? Just mentioned kind of euthanasia – at least for me – wouldn't be controversial at all...

People must never forget about their history. If they do then, sooner or later, language distorted by evil minds will bring disasters upon the whole world they live in.

Chrześcijański fundamentalizm(PL)

Po masakrze na wyspie Utøya w niektórych mediach pojawiły się opinie, iż zamachwiec który jej dokonał - Anders Behring Bravik - to "chrześcijanski fundamentalista". Pomijając fakt łączenia go także z masonerią, której działania potępiane są przez Kościół, istnieje jeszcze jedna, podstawowa przesłanka, dla której Bravik nie może zostać nazwany chrześcijaninem...

Dla żadnego bowiem wyznawcy Chrystusa, zabijanie nie może być środkiem do osiągnięcia celu: ŻYCIA wiecznego we współnocie niebieskiej.

Jest tak, nawet jeśli dla osiągnięcia tegoż celu, trzeba nam stawać się fundamentalistami:
ludźmi, pozwalającymi fundować swoje życie na skale, jaką jest gorąca, bezkompromisowa i zazdrosna miłość Chrystusa.

Drying off some Tears

Anyone who ever has stood in front of Our Lady of La Sallete's statue to listen about Immaculata's apparition to Mélanie Calvat and Maximin Giraud is obliged to decide...

That is obvious as one looks at crucifix worn by Mary of La Salette: a hammer and pincer are visible on it as perhaps unusual, yet not only symbolic features. Yes, one can nail Jesus to the cross again or ease His pain by undertaking some concrete actions...

Help Christ by taking away Mary's tears, and remember that she is the one who cries almost with the tears of her only Son...Since nothing can she do by and for herself.

The tabernacle

Why it is of the most importance for any Catholic to participate in the Holy Communion frequently, or better, to receive Jesus as often as it is possible? The answer is quite simple: Catholicism is not a mere knowledge about God – it is rather knowledge of God and His Love for you.

You can, of course, read letters from the person dear to you, you can talk about her(or him) all the time as well...Yet the true love and intimacy between you will not be possible until you really are well known to each other.

Yes, as you are in love, you want to know, seek, and understand – just be the second part of your loved one's heart.

Jesus loves you so much, and that's why He gives you such opportunity...Just become a living tabernacle for His Heart, not the one made of gold, but rather of your own body.

Na łodzi(PL)

Dziś po Sakramencie Pojednania po raz kolejny przyjrzałem się dobrze znanemu obrazowi.
Jezus dał mi tyle dobrego: wodę i Krew ze swego boku, doświadczenia ogrodu oliwnego, swe własne Ciało,życie i zaufanie...Że to wszystko nie będzie na marne.

Ja zaś- często niedługo po nakarmieniu Chlebem- oddaję mu nieobmyty grzech, lęk przed cierpieniem, brak żywej wiary, nieufność i zmarnowane po ludzku dobro.

Dobrze Jezu, że nie oczekujesz, byśmy od razu byli idealni, niebiescy na wskroś...Gdyby nie to, Piotr utonąłby krocząc po wodzie, a ja zapewne nie podjąłbym nawet próby wejścia na łódź.
Tak dobrze, że nie chcesz ode mnie cudu, prosząc bym zwyczajnie był i ufał...Sam zaś czynisz cuda każdego burzliwego dnia.

Above-cited, famous words of Simone Weil, the influential French philosopher of the 20th century, can be found in her book entitled "Needs for Root"(Paris, 1949). Weil, a gnostic, who wanted to know God gives us here some interesting, yet not fully developed model for dealing with virtually any social problem of our times:

Yes, there would not be a single suicide, abortion, euthanasia or unjust war in our world if all people recognized their obligations toward each other.

But here is something else to figure out:

What are said obligations, and where to find them? No philosopher can tell you this - only God , the One Who gave you The Ten Commandments, will.

Knowing this - no matter how sad you may be right now - do not give up your hope: seek and love Him and His creatures... For love is a right of Creator and us all - the one that only you, the remarkable co-operator with God, may make effective in perhaps small, yet still important scale.

Be a man...For all seasons

Perhaps you can have a good time with drugs, sex, and rock and roll today. The king of this world is inviting you to have fun with him for a season or two, and his offer seems to be very attractive.

If you are tempted to choose his offer think of St Thomas More(1478-1535) - he had his choices to made, too. Learn from this philosopher, statesman, and martyr, how to - by following the example of Christ - one can become a real man for all seasons.

Then - by following a fine example given to you by More - enjoy all the spledid moments of your life, spend them close to Jesus, and remember: your Lord is beside you no matter whether you are experiencing the joy of Heaven or the part of His Cross right now.

Modlitwa różańcowa ma wielu przeciwników- często mówi się o niej, jako o "staromodnym klepaniu", "nudzie", "mantrach bez końca"( nota bene- gdy modli się Wyznawca religii Wschodu, wielu jest pod wrażeniem, mało kto krytykuje Jego prawdziwie mantryczny sposob modlitwy).

Tymczasem Różaniec św. jest po to, byśmy miast buddyjskiego opróżnienia serc, doświadczyli napełnienia ich odnawialną Nadzieją, która w chwilach buntu i zwątpienia, pozwoli docenić to, co uczynił dla nas Jezus i przypominać sobie oraz ukochać słowa Maryi, wypowiedziane w kierunku Bernadety w Lourdes: "Nie obiecuję Ci szczęścia w tym życiu, ale w przyszłym...".Ufajmy i zabiegajmy o to, by słowa Matki znalazły swe dopełnienie z chwilą, gdy nareszcie w nie uwierzymy i znajdziemy się z Jej Synem i Nią w Niebie.

Why is our full participation in the Holy Mass so important?

Jesus himself tells us that we all should eat His holy Body in the remembrance of Him and His Life:
that's why whenever someone does the opposite - not only he or she breaches the III Commandment of God -
such person proclaims the death of Christ as well...

...The One whose only mission is to resurrect and live in and for EVERY human heart.

You can't have one...

There are two realities that must not be seen separately by any Catholic: these are Christ's holy Life, and His holy Cross.

"Cross without Christ" is a mere absurdity - if you had implemented such concept then you life would have been pointless. Only disapointments, pain, death...

No more sense get we be seeing Jesus without His Cross, since we all know that "no cross means no crown of our Salvation".

Life of Christ has been spanned between pain of His earthly Life and joy of heaven to remind us all that He is both God and human...All of that have a great meaning for us, who He loves so much, since His human nature makes our suffering bearable, and His divinity makes it worth of bearing.

Our daily bread (Corpus Cristi 2011)

I like the comparison of the Holy Eucharist to our daily food. This explains why we need the One on a regular basis, how we are healed from our venial sins by partaking of the Eucharist, finally why any grave sin can prevent Eucharistic graces from their enriching activity on human body and soul.

All of above-mentioned points are so obvious when we regard them in a context of the heavenly banquet. For only guest who ate with some kind of regularity before, can be seen as the strong and happy one during the said banquet, and then food given makes such person even stronger. Yet the mortal sin of any sort can separate invited guests from their heavenly Host since no dead man can be profitable either from any form of nourishment or from fatherly hug.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus

If there is one feature of Jesus' Heart that should be emulate by us, Catholics, in the most profound manner, its name would be the Holy Obedience. For a second Christ did not intend to betray His Father and us, children for whom He has been sent, by refusing His Cross( that's why movies like "The Last Temptation of Christ" are so blasphemous). Because of that His love is so strong, realible and trustworthy.

Learn from Him and love His Sacred Heart back no matter of cost.

Exclusively from the One you can get some strength that will enable you to share your love, faith and hope with other people...
And only through this very Heart you can get the awareness that mentioned gifts - and unmentioned pain - have not been given to you without a purpose.

The Wind of Hope

Many people seem to be very confused these days- and that's for they are constantly deceived about true goals that they are supposed to aim in (or rather for) their lives. I strongly believe that so-called pluralistic offer of today's media is partly to be blamed here: the one that provides us with all but truth leads our neighbours to bad places, and to solutions that are either contingent and uncertain, or based on divisive forces ...

Some of our friends have probably forgotten that the only gift that can make men happy and satisfied is Love. Jesus knows that, and that's why He lets Holy Spirit - the active Charity between Him and God the Father - enter into this world.

Learn what the said Love is, let It shape your life, and discover - with hope and gratitude - all what beloved Creator predestined you and the whole Human Family to participate in.

PS.As we just entered the eve of Pentecost, please pray that Love may always be considered by us as the special, free gift from God, and not as... Our offer for who we want.

The true Shepherd is here just for YOU...

Humiliated by your sins, astonished by some poor choices of your relatives and friends - from time to time even abandoned in your way of thinking\living...
Have you ever asked yourself:  "Why am I so weak, naive for the world I live in, common...?".

If so, pray as hard as you can... I am sure that this will gradually change your perspective from a bit egocentric to that which is God-centred - the one full of hope, love, faith and... Gratitude for who you are to Him*.


From the viewpoint  of a poor sinner who tries to talk to God, and sometimes doesn't even know how to do it, his/her life may, in fact, look so miserable. Yet for God each and everyone of us is so impressive, able-minded, special...



Now, look at the heaven, tell God about your pain, and remember - neither someone else could,  nor will replace YOU - the special human being for whom Christ, the most tender Shepherd, poured out His own precious Blood.

Ostatnio uczestniczyłem w rozmowie, która doprowadziła mnie do skonfrontowania mojej duszy z pytaniem o powołanie i sens życia osoby o specyficznej sprawności, w toku dyskusji usłyszałem bowiem: „(...)Po co męczyć siebie i innych swoją osobą; matka powinna mieć możliwość dokonania aborcji, jeśli badania prenatalne wykażą, iż jej dziecko będzie niepełnosprawne(...)”.

Moja świadomość nie pominęła faktu, iż w przypadku stwierdzenia głębokiego upośledzenia mającego się narodzić dziecka, matka mieszkająca w Polsce ma, niestety, prawo (czy raczej źle pojętą wolność, którą filozoficznie rzecz ujmując, należałoby sformułować jako niegodną możliwość wyboru) pozbawić je radości życia; nie bez znaczenia wydał mi się przy tym fakt, iż ograniczenie sprawności człowieka niejedno ma imię: może być ono tak znikome, iż nie jest przeszkodą w wykorzystaniu pełni szans w sferze rozwoju rodzinno-edukacyjno-zawodowego, nawet w nieprzyjaznym dla inności świecie.

Zdarza się jednak, iż zadana człowiekowi niepełnosprawność, faktycznie jest znaczna. Droga do kapłaństwa jest wtedy dlań całkowicie zamknięta przykazem Boga, myślenie o małżeństwie zaś – ograniczone poprzez prawdziwe lub wyobrażone przeszkody do jego zawarcia.

Dlaczego więc pozwolić takiemu i każdemu innemu dziecku  przyjść na świat? Każdy, kto chciałby zadać to pytanie, musi być świadom istnienia głębszych niż powyższe wyrazów rozważań. Wyraża je wątpliwość odnośnie do tego, kto i na podstawie jakich przesłanek, miałby decydować o pozbawianiu istoty ludzkiej życia, danego jej przez działającą poza człowiekiem, do tego prawdziwie mądrze i nieegoistycznie Miłość? Trzeba zdać sobie sprawę, iż żaden – jednako mniejszy, większy, „sprawny”, czy „niesprawny” człowiek – nie jest naszą zabawką, przedmiotem, który teraz lub w przeszłości ma spełniać nasze „sny o potędze” , które to z ochotą nań scedujemy. Jest to przede wszystkim Osoba, która ma ubogacać świat, by czynić zeń piękniejszą ofiarę dla Boga – jedynego Dawcy i Stróża Życia; najpełniej zaś czyni to ktoś, kto spotykając innego człowieka, niesie mu Dobrą Nowinę, naszego Zbawcę – umiłowanego Jezusa Chrystusa. Jest to zresztą misją każdego obywatela Wszechświata, niemniej specjalnie predestynowani do niej są ludzie w sposób bardziej wyrazisty obdarzeni Krzyżem Chrystusa. Nawet gdyby nie mieli w życiu innego powołania, niż współniesienie tego Krzyża i świadczenie o Nim, powinni oni bardzo się chlubić i być radzi ze swojego położenia...Całym sobą przylegają bowiem do najlepszego modelu życia, który to przed wiekami wybrał dla swego Syna sam Bóg.

Jeśli dziecko o obniżonej w pewnych sferach sprawności, urodzi się w rodzinie katolickiej, nie musi popadać w bojaźń, a jedynie od chwili uzyskania używania rozumu, świadomie dziękować i ofiarować swe cierpienie za innych i po to, by wynagrodzić grzechy dokonane przeciw swemu Stwórcy – ma bowiem bardzo dobry „start” w dorosłość, a może i w dojrzałość. Jeżeli zaś nawet jest innego wyznania, lecz przy pomocy i wraz z rodzicami, żyć będzie blisko ewangelicznych rad Chrystusa, wciąż może mieć – wraz z nimi – nadzieję na Niebo. Jest to tym pewniejsze, z im większą radością rodzina, choćby wątpiąca przez nieznajomość prawd wiary( należąca przy tym do kręgu tak zwanych „anonimowych chrześcijan” ), podąży w ślad św. Rodziny, pielęgnując powierzony Jej Dar – obojętnie co On oznacza, dając się ponieść miłowaniu mimo wszystko, czy lepiej– ku wdzięczności za wszystko. Jeśli bowiem rodzina jest „szkołą miłości”, o czym nauczał nas bł. Jan Paweł II, to – dokonując parafrazy – rodzina podtrzymująca słabsze życie, jest tejże miłości uniwersytetem.

Karl Rahner zwracał uwagę na możliwość obdarzenia łaską (konieczną do) zbawienia, ludzi znajdujących się poza Kościołem, więc białe – choćby nieuświadomione – męczeństwo wychowania podjęte w niekatolickiej rodzinie, pewnie dodatkowo wzmacnia działanie ewentualnego błogosławieństwa bożego dla niej; wszystko to nie zmienia jednak faktu, iż tylko rodzina katolicka, będzie miała możliwość najpełniejszego i aktywnego cieszenia się poczętym na jej łonie życiem we wspólnej nadziei na Niebo. Kościół Rzymski został bowiem wyróżniony ufundowaniem Go w ramach ogniska domowego, którego centrum stanowi po dzień dzisiejszy samo Dzieciątko Jezus; o to ognisko dbają zaś – wzywając nas do naśladowania swych cnót – najlepsi Rodzice świata. Niestraszne były Im przepowiednie wypowiadane po narodzeniu Jezusa pod świątynią, przemierzanie wraz z Nim długich kilometrów bez słowa sprzeciwu, czy trwanie u stóp Krzyża, choć ten ostatni ból, stał się wyłącznym udziałem Maryi.

I Ona właśnie –ta ukochana Matka wszystkich rodzin – pomoże Wam i Waszemu Dziecku wytrwać ku Niebu, nawet jeśli momentami Niebo to przysłaniać będzie krzyż cierpienia. Niech uwierzytelnieniem nie będą moje słowa, lecz dwa matczyne zdania wypowiedziane przez samą Matkę Bożą podczas jednego z objawień w rwandyjskim Kibeho:

„Nikt nie wchodzi do Nieba, nie cierpiąc” i „Dziecko Maryi nie rozstaje się z cierpieniem”.

Rodzice! Jeśli dowiedzieliście się teraz, iż wasze Dziecko będzie miało inaczej w stosunku do swych rówieśników rozłożony dar wyjątkowości i pragniecie modlić się o „cud”, nie wiedząc przy tym, o co konkretnie prosić – pozwólcie, niech Ono czyni to za Was swym uśmiechem, który może dać Wam udział w maryjnej, wypływającej ze skupienia się na Darze macierzyństwa, ufności – prowadzącej Maryję i wszystkie powierzone Jej dzieci do Nieba w  którym króluje Jej Syn.

Life-changing Love

Weronika czy Szymon (PL)

Chrześcijanin nie powinien wyróżniać się ani ubiorem, ani wyglądem. Jedyne, co może odróżnić go od tłumu, to jego postawa wobec krzyża, którego ciężar nie omija nikogo na tej ziemi.

"Czy - gdy patrzę na Krzyż Chrystusa - chciałbym przy Nim zająć miejsce Weroniki, czy też Szymona z Cyreny?". Oto zasadnicze pytanie, które opisuje, czy bliżej mi do chrześcijaństwa, czy może lepiej czuję się pośród propozycji, rozwiązań i marzeń, odciągających mnie od prawdziwego powołania na ziemski czas -  ocierania twarzy bliźniego, w którego oczach widzę ból Boga.

Czasem alternatywny, oparty na zapominaniu o cierpieniu sposób bycia, wydaje się być bardziej kuszącym: z pozoru lepiej zanurzyć się w hedonizmie, buddyzmie, stoicyzmie - lub innych -izmach, które "odsuwają" od nas perspektywę krzyża. Trzeba jednak wiedzieć, że wybierając te źródła zapatrywań, zamieniamy się w narcyza, przeżywającego życie w sposób na pewno coś obiecujący, lecz przy tym samotniczy i odrealniony: pozbawiony wymiaru aktywnej miłości, aktualizującej się wyłącznie spotkaniu z człowiekiem, niosącym swój krzyż- jedyną busolę na drogę do Nieba.

On the Fifth Dogma

So-called Fifth Marian Dogma – no other theological issue of our times is discussed more than this one.
Also to me this theological proposal used to be controversial.
But, as I love Mary, I prayed to understand the whole thing...Thinking if there is any reason at all to accept this - as I see it now - dogma-to-be.

Of course, until the said concept is formally acknowledged by the Pope, we all should be cautious and somehow reserved about it: Mary herself – i.e. in Kibeho – tells us that obedience to the Holy Church is of the most importance for any Roman Catholic.

But why I am so inclined toward the concept of Mary seen as the  "Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate"?

First of all - at least as far as I know - the title of Co-redemptrix does not provide Mary with either higher or equal position, compared to the one hold by Jesus.

Mary's indirect role in our redemption, expressed within described concept, seems to be simple: she gave Christ His human nature, and such a nature of His hands and feet made His Cross closer to ours.

Moreover, since Jesus' Heart is the only source of all graces for us, we can see with even greater clarity merits of Mary in whose womb this very Heart was formed. The One made her full of graces- every time we say a rosary, consecutive “Hail Marys” remind us of this truth.

And as God himself placed Christ under the tender care of Immaculata, Christ emulated His Father by placing us, human beings, under her maternal protection (look at her stretched arms that wait for us)...
Finally, she  is the one that teaches us all how to conform our human nature to God's plans for us, no matter how external circumstances may look like.
For above-mentioned reasons Mary's titles of Mediatrix and Advocate seem to get the perfect sense.

I know that Mary in her humbleness does not need any new titles for herself, yet I am not sure if those new titles would be of no use to us.

The suffering that saves (please do not make her cry)

''No one likes to suffer'' – in this phrase can, unfortunately, be found a lot of truth.

I said unfortunately, for where there's no place for obedience of many  – as it is in our modern, based on almost add(ct)itive gaining of pleasures world – there should be an openness for the voluntary suffering of some.

However I am quite well acquainted with the apparitions of Fatima, Lourdes, and Knock, non of these struck me so much as the apparitions of Kibeho did. Kibeho is a small town located in Rwanda, where some visionaries claim to have seen Immaculata crying on August 15, 1982.

I bet that Our Lady herself do not wanted to suffer, both at the foot of the Cross, about 2000 years ago, and recently – because of our sins.

Yet she had been suffering willingly for us all, knowing – what is now the well known part of Kibeho's message:

''No one will reach heaven without suffering''.

Mary, conceived without sin, teach us how to endure our suffering patiently, that is without making you cry any more.

The real places, the real words

Fatima apparitions - for some these are hoaxes, for many the true miracles.
Whatever you think of above-mentioned apparitions you ought to examine their fruits:
by pointing that hell is as real as heaven sister Lucia Santos has given us the new insight on the human freedom.
The one can be condensed in the phrase that needs to be placed above each and every door to the places of sin around the world:


"Not what we may do or what makes us happy, but  rather what we are supposed to do, sets us free".


Souls in hell may confirm this truth, and so can angel of God, who has uttered  at Cova da Iria-Fatima, the following, famous words of warning, correction, and hope:

Droga do Kany (PL)

Czym kierować się przy rozeznawaniu, czy małżeństwo jest dla mnie, dlaczego warto być z konkretnym człowiekiem, wreszcie - kogo zaprosić na wesele? Pytania te, zadaje sobie wielu młodych ludzi, pragnących przeżywać swe życie, jako wspólnotę jednego ciała w drodze ku Niebu.

Wydaje się, iż najroztropniej czynią ci, którzy nie pytają najpierw:  "co dostanę w zamian?", ani nawet: "co sam mogę dać drugiej osobie?", ale raczej - "czy będziemy w stanie dawać RAZEM (tzn. sumując siły jednego już ciała, którym to chcemy się stać) Jezusowi przez Maryję,  radość płynącą z łaski naszego małżeństwa?".

Tylko rozpatrując Dar małżeństwa poprzez Jego wspólnotowość, można obdarowywać i czerpać, pamiętając nie tyle o sobie na tej ziemi, ale o dwojgu w Niebie, skupiając uwagę już u zarania drogi, na najważniejszych gościach weselnych:

Jezusie, który tak ukochał Sakrament małżeństwa, iż zechciał swym pierwszym publicznie uczynionym cudem, ubogacić kananejskich nowożeńców
i Maryi, która oręduje, by nigdy nie zabrakło Jej Syna, tam gdzie dwoje ludzi pragnie winnego zdroju, ożywiającego ich dotychczasowe, łaską przemienione życie.

The moon under her feet

Some Muslims are convinced that the Holy Virgin Mary is considered by us, Catholics, as some kind of goddess.
False opinions, like the one just mentioned, are repeated not only by the followers of Muhammed but also by uneducated and malicious people of all nations. 
And still Immaculata is as much created, human person, as the holy one.
Here lies the great role of Mary, that's why we really need her in and for our Church.
For she, just like the glowing moon,  both reflects and is a reflection of the Light of Christ-our only Sun, showing us at the same time that the sanctity is for every human being, and not only for God.

Jego Miłość, Jego Droga, Jego Ramiona (PL)

Niedziela Miłosierdzia Bożego – pierwszy poniedziałek po Wielkanocy, 2011 r.

Dedykuję wszystkim Osobom, obdarowanym przez Boga swoistą sprawnością, pytającym Go teraz „dlaczego?”

Świętość. Cel, którego istotą jest przyozdobienie Nieba, obecnością w Nim duszy człowieka, wdzięcznego Panu za życie doczesne, stał się już z pewnością udziałem wielu naszych Braci i Sióstr, budujących we Wieczności Kościół Chwalebny. Pośród wymienionych, pobłogosławionych łaską wiary rzesz ludzkich, znajduje się bez wątpienia bł. Jan Paweł II, który w Niedzielę Miłosierdzia Bożego, 01.05.2011 roku, uczynił ku swej osobistej świętości – przy aklamacji i radości wiernych z całego świata – znaczący krok.

Niech fakt ten, stanie się przyczynkiem do rozważań nad istotą przeznaczenia człowieka w spotkaniu z Bogiem i nad ludzkimi drogami ku temuż Miłosiernemu Bogu.

Warto przy tym zauważyć, że życie jest radością właśnie dzięki Celowi świętości, który to jaśnieje przed człowiekiem od momentu narodzin. Radość ta jednak jest spełnioną dopiero w Niebie, do którego prowadzi nierzadko cierpienie, łzy, błogosławienie uśmiechem światu, który nie chce się do nas uśmiechać. Jest to zresztą zgodne z tym, co zapowiadał swym (niejednokrotnie niedoszłym) uczniom sam Chrystus, wzywając ich do zaparcia się siebie, gotowości przyjęcia cierpień, czy upokorzeń, które muszą nadejść, nim człowiek będzie gotowy – niczym Syn Marnotrawny – poczuć ciepło przygarniających go Ramion Ojca. Bez bólu zresztą, nie docenilibyśmy Miłości Bożej, już na ziemi zadowalając się Jej namiastką.

Oczywiście, człowiek żyjąc najpierw na tym świecie, jest konkretnie osadzony w marzeniach, których spełnienie mogłoby było się stać jego udziałem. Jest to normalne i ludzkie – oddychamy bowiem ziemskim powietrzem, zmysły cielesne chcą chłonąć ten świat, oczy – sycić się jego obietnicami.

Bóg jednak widzi dalej i w szerokiej perspektywie naszego oraz powszechnego szczęścia, mieszczącego się w ramach Jego najświętszej Ekonomii Zbawczej, nierzadko Wskazuje, iż to co ludzkie nie wystarcza, bądź nie pomaga w osiągnięciu pełni zbawienia.

Jest to bardzo istotne stwierdzenie, gdyż czasem myślimy, że drogę do świętości możemy obrać sobie sami...Niestety, a może na szczęście – Pan, wiedząc co jest naprawdę najlepszym – często weryfikuje to, co zakłada sobie Kwiat Jego Stworzenia. Świętość dlatego jest świętością, iż prowadzi człowieka przez drogi, które wydają mu się ciężkimi lub nie do przejścia, bo każą wykraczać poza własne zamierzenia, plany, czasem też poza piękne marzenia.

Iż jest to ciężkie wyzwanie, wiedział zapewne bł. Jan Paweł II – inaczej nie zawierzyłby się cały Maryi, która jak najmilsza Matka, ochroniła Go od zwątpienia i upadku wiary w Boga i człowieka; Ich to dobrej i kochającej naturze, rzuciły wyzwania działania wojenne ogarniające Europę w latach 1939-45 (przypomnijmy, iż niektórzy w analogicznych warunkach, skłonni byli popadać w skrajny pesymizm – wyraża to choćby fragment wiersza L. Staffa pt. „Tak. Bóg opuścił ziemię”, w którym człowiek opisany jest jako „dzika bestia”, a Bóg – to dezerter).

Również następca Karola Wojtyły na Stolicy Piotrowej, zrozumiał iż nie zawsze drogi świętości, są tymi, które możemy sobie dowolnie wybierać, kształtować lub poszerzać dla naszej wygody.

Wolałby On zapewne być kiedyś wspominany jako święty teolog, podjął się jednak z heroizmem wyzwania, które nałożyło na niego konklawe i po dziś dzień kieruje Kościołem św. ku chwale Bożej. Jedynym znakiem – podkreślającym wymownie, iż Benedykt XVI cierpiał po ludzku po wyborze na Głowę Kościoła, jest niedźwiedź wpisany w aktualnie obowiązujący herb papieski; herb ten symbolizuje przecież zwierzę pociągowe, które początkowo może niezbyt chętnie, ale za to potem – z całym zaangażowaniem, przyjmuje w imię ważniejszej niż ono sprawy, wszystkie ciężary służby swemu Panu. Symbol ten, jest dyskretnym zwróceniem uwagi na to, czym jest Boża Droga.

Nie zawsze bowiem chcemy iść tam gdzie nas prowadzą, zawsze jednak winnyśmy widzieć nasze powołanie w kontekście głośno powtarzanej i często przypominanej Modlitwy Pańskiej. Niech każde „Ojcze Nasz”, przypomina nam, że świętość to nie tylko przyszłość, ale też dana-zadana teraźniejszość – niekoniecznie kształtowana tak, jak my marzymy, ale jak On chciał planując nasze życie od zarania świata, układając na swej dobrej Dłoni i przeznaczając do drogi najlepszej dla Nas...Bo łaska ( czy szerzej świętość) – powtórzmy za Akwinitą – budowana jest na naturze ( sprawność bądź jej brak, już często są wskazaniami do konkretnych powołań), po to byśmy wykraczając poza siebie i oczyszczając łzami obmywającymi duszę, mającą mieć udział w uczcie paschalnej, mogli kiedyś powiedzieć:

„ Dzięki Ojcze, iż wybrałeś dla mnie i całego świata najlepszą z możliwych Dróg – Drogę (ku) Twojej Miłości”.

Drodzy – pełni, a nieraz może błagający o dar heroiczności cnót – powtarzajmy te słowa za ufającym Chrystusem, pierwotnie umęczonym na Golgocie, później zaś zmartwychwstałym dla Nas ku Niebu.

Will I see him again?

Right now, as we reach the beatification day of the late Pope John Paul II, we may and should read his encyclical letters, memoirs about him,  but first and foremost we are obliged to imitate his way of living more passionately.

That's easier said than done, isn't it?

Sometimes, especially when imitation of Pope's virtues is a hard thing to do, we may even look at some photo of John Paul, and then pray silently or cry out using the following words : Please help me to see you again.

Not only for Cristeros

After the joy of Easter Sunday, as the whole Easter period is closer to its end,  the question may rise: is it possible to stay joyful and proclaim one's happiness due to the Resurection of Christ all the time? 


In my opinion, one can achieve said goal - even in spite of their personal tragedies, disasters or disappointments.

All that need to be done by a person in order that he/she may rejoice from Jesus' Resurrection in a constant manner, is one's emulation of bl José Luis Sánchez del Río in saying,  just as he did, with all one's heart, soul and life: "Long life Christ King! Long live the Virgin of Guadalupe!" and not the "Christ is dead",  whenever opportunity to sin is near.

Just look, listen and love

From the evening of the first Holy Thursday until the end of the first Good Friday, Our Lord has suffered so much...
Jesus' Agony in the garden, His way of the cross, finally His death... Marks of His pain are clearly visible not only on the Shroud of Turin but also in our conscience.

For not only has He suffered physical pain: He has also  been exposed to the psychological torments, and the later were even worse.

Whenever an opportunity to sin comes to me, I can almost hear: "will you abandon me as well?".

Then I know clearly: Simon of Cerene, St. Veronica, and all the women of Jerusalem could not did for Jesus as much as I can do by the avoidance of my own trespasses.

Meditate on His Holy Face and do not abandon Him. Here comes a special moment - the time in which God himself asks for your presence by Him with all his divine and human Heart.

Lead entirely new life and trust

What is Lent for?Of course it has been given to us by Jesus so we could recognize our sins and get rid of them. Only then He can come to our thirsty, tired-out hearts and give them the Water of Life...

After that we will see that we all – poor, ordinary sinners –  have something in common with Lazarus or the blind man described in the Bible.

That's right: we, just like them, can Lead Entirely New life and Trust.

Dziedziczenie duchowe(PL)

Michael Tomasello, psycholog poznawczy badający różnice między naczelnymi a ludźmi, stwierdza – w dużym uproszczeniu – iż podstawową przewagę gatunku ludzkiego nad wybranymi gatunkami małp, wywieść można ze zdolności tego pierwszego do wspólnych działań ku celowemu i trwałemu organizowaniu rzeczywistości na różnych jej poziomach. Wpisując się ze swoimi poglądami w koncepcję tak zwanego dziedziczenia kulturowego, współistniejącego i współtworzącego ludzkość wraz z mechanizmem dziedziczenia biologicznego, nie bierze On raczej pod uwagę wyjątkowości Istoty ludzkiej, która to wyjątkowość wynikałaby z posiadania przez Nią duszy. Zadbajmy, by To, co w moim przekonaniu w pierwszym rzędzie czyni nas godnymi Życia i miłości – to znaczy siła animująca ciało ku Zbawieniu[etym. anima(łac.)=dusza], dana nam w umiłowaniu przez Stwórcę, było piękne i promieniowało światłem na nasze dzieci i cały świat – składający się nie tylko z genów i memów, ale przede wszystkim z Dobra.

The new sanctuary of love (let Jesus in)

The second person of the Holy Trinity, Jesus Christ, has been born into a human family... 

For some this amazing fact is extremely difficult to understand or accept. 

Yet Jesus' love for the concept and reality of the loving family has one simple reason:

He knew that only in the home that is full of joy, acceptance, and forgiveness, love can come into this world again.

Bethlehem, Loreto and Walsingham -- these places spanned between the East and the West,  remind us of above-mentioned, simple yet powerful truth. Now, what kind of impression will people get from your home? Let Jesus in, so He may dwell in the next sanctuary of love.

Surrender is not an option

I do rarely refer to my personal life on this blog, yet this time I have to make an exception to this rule.

By so doing, I am hoping to serve the Truth, which will for sure set some great person free of accusations.

Although I had been born into the strong, Catholic family, during my youth I had quite a difficult time.

I could not consider my disability as a gift from God then, rather-- at least at some point of my life--I was bitter and almost indifferent to the person of my Lord and Savior. I just couldn't figure out what was I created for...

And then, in one afternoon, I saw some special priest in the TV - his name was John Corapi, and he spoke to me about the importance and power of the holy Rosary like nobody else before him had done.

From that time on I pray with Mary on the regular, daily basis - being  happy and open to the Catholic faith and its richness, as one could possibly be. Currently, as my heart is overflowing with God's Love, I am trying to share here mentioned Love with other people.

Fr.Corapi, SOLT has helped me in becoming the man full of the kindest feeling toward God and Mary...

For this reason not only will I never ask God of taking my cerebral palsy back from me again-

instead I would rather try to offer it up for the whole world, especially for the beloved father Corapi.

May the tender Virgin Mary remind him, me, and all of us in need that surrender is not an option!

The true gift

Some not well-known  innkeeper granted the unborn Jesus with a piece of information, telling His Mother that the Manger was not far from Them.

Later on a few shepherds bowed low to Baby Jesus, while Herod offered Him a sour smile.
Even the beauty of gold - given to our Lord by one of the Maggis - failed to ease His agony in the garden and on the Cross.

Almost as if none of them noticed that the whole life of Christ, spanned between the Manger and Golgotha,  is His crying out for Love - the one true and everlasting gift.

If it makes Him happy

Saint Joseph was not a kind of talkative or self-promoting person, and for this reason he is rather not considered as a man of success by today's media. Yet he attained something that no other father had achieved before him or would be able to achieve in the future: he had been in Heaven before he even got there... And all of that just by looking at Jesus' Holy Face. Joseph knew that the smile of his Savior is worth much more that all the honors and treasures offered by this world.

You can be a renown politician, manager or lawyer, and yet your career, money and statements will be good for nothing until the Baby Jesus is proud of you.

Foster-father of our Lord, teach us all how to make Jesus and the holy Virgin Mary happier – not with our words but with our deeds.

The response of love

Saint Patrick who is commemorated in Ireland this day gave us a better understanding of the most Holy Trinity. That is a commonly known fact.

But he has done much more for the Emerald Island and for us all. He can be seen as a great model for the whole Catholic Family. It is so for not only has he mastered Gaelic in order spread the Gospel in the land of his captivity. Not only has he returned to the same land because of Jesus' calling. He has also served His Master and people in much more extended manner – namely as a bishop. 

And all because he knew that the one good response to the sinfulness and brutality of this world  -- no matter of the circumstances experienced by a particular sufferer --  is the response of love.  The one that has been born on the Cross to equip each and every missionary of Christ with inexhaustible hope.

(...)Życie wewnętrzne zostało mistrzowsko opisane w drugim ważnym dla historii Zakonu dokumencie noszącym tytuł „O założeniu pierwszych mnichów”, napisanym przez Filipa Ribota w 1390 roku; autor, kataloński karmelita, pragnął skrystalizować model powołań, koncentrując się po pierwsze na osobie Eliasza, po drugie na Maryi, Matce Jezusa. Eliasza od początku postrzegano jako o j c a karmelitów. Ribot uzasadnia tą postawę, przedstawiając na podstawie biblijnych przekazów, oraz tradycji wynikającej z aktywności pustynnych mnichów i Ojców Kościoła, pełne symbolizmu życie Eliasza; czerpie przy tym z przykładów mogących być z łatwością realizowanymi przez współczesnych mu współbraci, uwzględniając nowy kontekst ich życia, wynikający z pobytu w Europie. Stworzył on „Legendę Eliasza”, ta zaś inspirowała karmelitów i kształtowała ich tożsamość w ciągu kolejnych wieków.
W jednym, niezwykle ważnym rozdziale swego dzieła, Ribot nakreśla celowość istnienia Zakonu, używając przy tym stylu wypowiedzi zaczerpniętego z pierwszego kazania Jana Kasjana; można tu zauważyć duży zwrot w kierunku mistycyzmu. Według słów Ribota działalność zakonu karmelitańskiego służyć ma dwóm celom:
1) „Ofiarowywać Bogu serce czyste, nieskażone grzechem(...)”; oraz
2) „Umożliwiać sercom i doświadczeniu – nie tylko po śmierci, ale już w tym życiu, zakosztowania oraz poznania choć w części, potęgi wynikającej z obecności Mocy Bożej i radości wiecznej płynącej z chwały Niebios” .
Te dwa cele składają się na „znak rozpoznawczy” modlitwy karmelitańskiej, w naturalny sposób łączącej oczyszczenie i zjednoczenie z Bogiem. Powyższe ideały są wytworem tego samego Ducha, przeznaczonym dla każdej osoby.
Oto doniosły opis drogi karmelitańskiej: jego rozumienie od zawsze pełniło rolę przewodnią dla autorów tekstów duchowych (włączając Teresę z Avila i Jana od Krzyża). Oto pustynna duchowość Karmelu: poszukiwanie pustki i pełni, k e n o s i s    i    p l e n o r n a.
Eliasz był pionierem takiego stylu życia, ukształtował go dla wszystkich karmelitów. Jakkolwiek dawno porzucono twierdzenie, że karmelici wywodzą się bezpośrednio od Eliasza (jak to utrzymywał Ribot), prorok ten pozostaje o j c e m i założycielem Zakonu w szczególnym sensie; zainspirował Jego powstanie i wyznaczył Jego ideały.
Również postać Najświętszej Maryi Panny odgrywa znaczącą rolę w dziele „O założeniu pierwszych mnichów”. Jest Ona kolejnym wcielonym symbolem karmelitańskiego życia. Szybko stała się patronką miejsca w którym powstał Zakon, Naszą Panią z Góry Karmel; kaplica ku Jej czci wzniesiona została na miejscu, obok Fontanny Eliasza. Karmelici od najwcześniejszych czasów nazywali siebie Zakonem  Braci  Naszej Pani z Góry Karmel, czyniąc Maryję swą siostrą, patronką i matką.

Rola jaką Maryja odgrywała w Zakonie, podlegała znaczącemu umocnieniu na przestrzeni wieków: od XV w. Brązowy Szkaplerz¹, stał się szatą wszystkich związanych z Zakonem.
