A Holy Rosary from the biblical point of view

The Holy Rosary is one of the most important sacramentals and prayers in the Catholic Church.

Perhaps for this reason it is an object of the furious attacks or misinterpretations as well.

Some will even say that this prayer is not biblical at all...But in fact it can be seen as one of the best descriptions of Bible.

What makes the one so Bible-centered and even universal? Let's take a look...

It begins with „ The Creed” which is a common ground for the majority of Christians. Then „Our Father” goes (Matthew 6:9), and finally while praying this beautiful prayer we are reminded of Gabriel's words directed to Mary:

"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women"(...).

If you need more arguments, please consider the Rosary's mysteries: All of them are either directly taken from our Bible or related to the biblical events.

Try to pray the Rosary as frequent as you can for it is good to read a Holy Scripture...Yet it is better to know The One through prayer.
