Many disciples of Our Lord were discouraged due to His death. Some of them even doubted.
Today – about 1976 years after that Event- the new Holy Week enters into its decisive phase.
Perhaps in this particular time it is extremely easy to doubt too – just like St. Thomas did. We seem to be discouraged despite the fact that (at least in many cases) our problems are not so big.
If you are very sad, realise what the above-mention saint did not know at that moment of time: sufferings and finally a death are the only ways to achieve a real life. Crucified and resurrected Jesus has taught us this by His own example for he is the way, the truth, and THE LIFE. Just do your part and trust in Him.
