How can you help people with atheistic attitudes to find God?
If they are open-minded, you may start with telling them
about the order of the universe, scientific stability that -- although well proven -- can't deny miracles experienced by so many
in Lourdes, Fatima, Częstochowa, or even a small town of Racibórz, Poland...
Just-mentioned arguments may be fine, yet still insufficient for a
sceptical mind: sometimes a person who is away from God is not
looking for a mere scientific explanation of some miracles that have
happened to others, but for the greatest miracle that one may ever be granted with in his/her whole life -- the Heart that cares.

Between Cross and Resurrection
Some people are either hostile toward Jesus or do not understand Him at all. Both His Cross and His Glory seem to be incomprehensible to them, so-called "all-knowing" men.
In the past, however, neither the Blessed Virgin Mary nor Our Lord's disciples treated Him and His redemptive Mission in this way.
Despite of the blasphemous voices such as: "Why won't You get down from your Cross", and "He is not risen, this could not be the case, even if somebody says so" there was unceasing hope in Mary and followers of Jesus. They knew well that any pain or unbelievable surprise may be accepted with trust if only
experienced in closeness to the Messiah, the One who -- no matter of what -- was, still is, and always will be the Ultimate Reason, Hope, and Strength for us all.

Beyond our Understanding (be Patient)
The Divine Mercy, however, seems to operate differently: I think that this Phenomenon can't be appreciated until a human being is totally opened to (and grateful for) whatever God the Father may intend for them....
Amid all the sufferings we should be aware that Our Lord wants to see us, His beloved and happy children, in Heaven someday. Only this counts.
St. Bernadette, the patron Saint of this day, had known this from the time of her childhood, and that's why later -- when the Grace came -- she could listen, without any fear or resentment, to the words of wisdom
that the Mother of Mercy, Mary privileged her with:
"I don't promise to make you happy in this world but in the other."

Her Mantle Is for Everyone
Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception - one of the biggest churches in the world is, in my opinion, very beautiful and remarkable.
Its façade and interior are truly charming, still this church, located in Washington DC, has a lot more to offer. Inside of it both worshipers and visitors will find about 70 shines dedicated to Our Lady under many of Her titles...Is it not great that, by God Providence, the United States of America - country so much endangered by the plague of pornography - is constantly protected by the Immaculata herself? Yes, God knows best what, or rather Who, do people really need. We all are sinners in need of Mary's protection, and Our Creator does not favor some nations over others: that is why visitors to the described Basilica may encounter, among many others, the image of Mary, The Queen of All Hearts.

Dwelling Places
Christ is risen! Truly, He is risen!
On this Easter Sunday we all have seen some special grave, namely the empty grave of Our Lord.
But where is Christ, or rather, where should He be right now?
It is obvious that He left just-mentioned grave to find some better dwelling place for himself, and for us all...
A tomb or even a golden tabernacle is not enough for the living God, and a paradise - the only place that may be pleasing to our Creator and His beloved children - is not an abstract void idea prepared for nobody.
That's why, He who is Love alone, and who came to bind heaven and earth with the golden chain of graces needs to dwell in your heart:
The place where heaven, inspired by the Holy Presence, may have its beginning.

The Face of Hope
Some people, among them philosophers and logicians, say that God is only a technical term or meaningless word.Others try to convince us, Christians, that human beings are evil and can only bring disastrous situations upon themselves or the planet they live in.
Neither the first nor the second statement is true:
Please look at the Holy Cross, see the countenance of Jesus Christ and realise how real and beautiful the Face of God-Man can be...

PS. John Paul II, the true philosopher, will be happy to hear both "we love you" and "we read your books on the regular basis."
Do not forget about this and pray for me, please. Blessed Easter Triduum to you all!
