Not why but how

Why I need Mary if there is Jesus? This question is repeated over and over again, being asked by many Protestant friends and some Catholic sisters and brothers. The only Person who, undoubtedly, never posed such a question, was Jesus himself; He, however mysterious this may sound, indeed needed Mary to be here for you and me.

So next time, when tempted to repeat the old, well known question, please change you mind and ask yourself instead:  How may I express my gratitude to Mary for there is Jesus...?

Yes, We Can

Jesus and Mary on the Mt Carmel

Each and every mountaintop, either the real or abstract one, has something special to offer. Some climbers are attracted to the real peaks, the others -- especially people with  impairments -- want to reach the tops of their abilities.
Whether you are disabled or able-bodied person, do not be afraid of supernatural summits:
They all are given to remind you and me that, at least sometimes, the great joy of communion with God and good people may have its start on the abandoned and difficult route.

The Prism

In Carmel, the greatest Garden of God,
The Gardener cares for each small plant,
But, among many, only one shines...
So others may be loved.
 

Don't  be jealous, don't be sad -
Mary, the Rose of whom I speak
Alone is sprinkled with the grace...
So we may get the same God's gift.

And Carmel means the Garden of God

Our Lady of Mount Carmel is often described as the Mother, the Sister and the Patroness of the whole Carmelite Order.

Understanding seems to be some kind of unifying value here: this word is related to all above-mentioned functions and qualities of  Her. Yet, where is a practical dimension of such discovery?

Sister helps us, mother guides us, and the patroness knows all about us.

All we -as the pilgrims on this earth- have to do is...Trust that She will always be at our side during our way to Mount Carmel.

Mary, pray for us and show us the way!

Petition prayer to our Lady of Mt. Carmel

Today I would like to share with you a beautiful prayer to Mary. The one is known for its great efficiency – so you can say it in a case of any necessities, problems, painful situations and so on :

PETITION PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL (NEVER KNOWN TO FAIL)

Oh, most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven. Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity, Oh Star of the Sea, help me and show me here you are my Mother. Oh Holy Mary, Mother of God Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech thee from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity (make request). There are none that can withstand your power. Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee (say three times). Holy Mary, I place this prayer in your hands (say three times). Amen.

Modlitwa o wstawiennictwo Naszej Pani- Maryi z Góry Karmel ( nigdy nie pozostała niewysłuchana).

Najpiękniejszy kwiecie Karmelu, owocujący krzewie winny, chwało Niebios. Błogosławiona matko Syna Bożego, niepokalanie poczęta Dziewico- wesprzyj mnie w potrzebie. Gwiazdo Morska zbłąkanych żeglaży, pomóż okazując, że jesteś również moją Matką. Święta Maryjo, Matko Boga, Królowo Nieba i Ziemi-pokornie błagam z głębin mego serca o Twą pomoc w.......... Wiem, że nikt nie oprze się udzielonej Tobie Mocy. Maryjo poczęta bez grzechu – módl się za nami, którzy uciekamy się do Ciebie ( 3x ). Święta Maryjo – intencję tej modlitwy składam w Twoje dłonie (3x). Amen.

Modlitwa powinna być odmówiona z oddaniem i ufnością w okresie 3. kolejno następujących dni- po tym czasie należy opublikować tekst modlitwy wraz z dziękczynieniem, nie czekając na spełnienie próśb kierowanych do Maryi. Gdy tak się stanie modlący się, otrzyma łaski o które prosi.
